Paging FAQ

What is Group Call?

Group Call is a service whereby potentially millions of receivers can be messaged simultaneously. With other messaging this tends to happen serially so there may be a long time delay between the first and final person being contacted. With paging any number of receivers can be alerted in say 30 seconds. This makes paging an ideal service for alerting and informing targeted groups such as search and rescue crews; or broadcasting alerts to local residents affected by an emergency such as a chemical spillage or a dangerous fire.
